Como Falls
And the rains came, and came.....
On August 18 and 19, 2007, The City of Hokah sustained 15.1 inches of rain in a twenty four hour period.
Until seeing it for yourself, it is truly impossible to imagine the devastation this unexpected, powerful act of nature did to the
southeastern Minnesota region. The absolutely serene Como Falls Park with its unique waterfall and striking landscaping done totally
by volunteers has divided the meandering creek in half and is now matted down with trees and debris.
